The myrtle (nothofagus cuninghamii) is the most common rainforest tree in Tasmania, providing food and shelter for many forest creatures.  It is evergreen and despite the leaves being quite soft and small, the tree can grow up to 10 meters tall. This pendant is a simple celebration of this very Tasmanian tree.
